Day 13: I was a busy elf wrapping up presents today. I usually try to recycle old boxes and ribbon in creative ways to jazz up gifts. I had a shoebox lid that I wanted to use because of its lovely blue color. I needed to cover up the logo on top, so I painted a big white oval, which originally was going to be a sledding scene, but I changed my mind once I envisioned a beard on this jolly Santa. I used red fabric that I knitted long ago for his cap, sewed on some beads at the tip and hot glued it onto the box so that the beads could hang over the edge. I'm happy that it ended up looking a bit vintage. The boxes on the right, under the Santa are wrapped in patterned paper made for Dear Adelaide Design.
