Day 24: Merry Christmas Eve! I needed to break out the leather work gloves to put this prickly holly wreath together, but it was fun working with the fresh holly and ivy branches. I also enjoyed reflecting on words from the British folk carol The Holly and the Ivy and how the lyrics connect the winter plants to symbols of Christ's blood and life given for us...our greatest Christmas gift of all!
