Spectacled Animals Reading Books

October has been an exciting month.  Not only have I made a my first public art debut on trashcans (more on that later), but I've also become a member of the Philadelphia Zoo.  There are squirrel monkeys, caribbean flamingos, and Galapagos tortoises within walking distance from my house...why have I not joined sooner?!  I'm hoping to make a weekly habit of sketching there, and I can already feel some themes emerging in my work.  The best time to sketch an animal is when it's eating, sleeping, or reading a book.
